The company was established by owners of a group of industrial, manufacturing, trading, and freight forwarding and logistics enterprises, as a logical extension of their "door-to-door" business model. The main goal was to complement the group's road and rail logistics with their own river fleet for more efficient delivery of industrial and agricultural goods between consumers in the European Union countries.
