The main goal was to complement the group’s road and rail logistics with their own river fleet for more efficient delivery of industrial and agricultural goods between consumers in the European Union countries.
The company began its development by acquiring the ms CAERUS (formerly CON ZELO), a self-propelled river vessel with a carrying capacity of 1,087 tons. The vessel was certified for GMP for the transport of food-grade goods. The vessel transported animal feed, fodder and food grains, including organic grains, between river ports in the Rhine, Main, and Danube deltas. It was also involved in transporting equipment, glass, metal, wood, and fertilizers. It has been operating on routes delivering grain, fertilizers, ore, and cargo between river ports . Continuing the company’s development strategy the ms PRESTIGE (formerly LABORIEUX) was acquired, the second vessel and the current flagship of the company’s fleet, a self-propelled river vessel with a carrying capacity of 2,370 tons and certified to push additional barges with a total convoy carrying capacity of 4,200 tons. The vessel was also certified for GMP for the transport of food-grade goods. The vessel transported animal feed, fodder and food grains, including organic grains, between river ports in the Rhine, Main, and Danube deltas. It was also involved in transporting equipment, glass, metal, wood, and fertilizers.
Prestige was involved in transporting two port tugs from the port of Werkendam (Netherlands) to the port of Bratislava (Slovakia). This voyage was a complex and simultaneously interesting project involving the transport of the tugs in their entirety, without disassembly, in the holds of the ms Prestige, navigating under railway and road bridges in the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria, through the locks of the Rhine, Main, and Danube. This project was unique and was successfully executed by our company’s specialists without any deviations from the plan.
Armada Partnership acquired the Plutos/Plutos II convoy (self-propelled vessel + push barge) with a total carrying capacity of 1,568 tons. The vessel was also certified for GMP for the transport of food-grade goods and is currently operating between river ports in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. It is involved in transporting grain, metals, fertilizers, and bulk building materials.
